5^th Annual End-of-the-Summer Special Needs BBQ

Thursday, August 14 5:30-6:30pm

Enjoy a night out with your family and friends at Bicentennial Park Large Pavilion. Event will feature burgers-n-dogs, chips, refreshments, music, Splash Pad and more… Come ready to have some fun! This event is open to children with special needs and families/friends (all ages). Admission to Splash Pad included with dinner. We will also be awarding our “Sports-A-Palooza” players with a special award to finish their 8-week season. Stay after to watch their final game on field #6.

Cost is $1 children (12 & under), $2 adults~covers the cost of food -Bring a dessert to pass if you like....Great social event to meet some new friends and families!!! Bring a swimsuit for the Splash Pad.

Lapeer Days Float

S.P.I.D.E.R. Will have a float in the Lapeer Day's Parade on August 16, 2008 for the first time! Please come out and walk with us! All children with Down syndrome who RSVP by email to Jan Elliot at robpem222@hotmaill.com (810-724-0933) can get a free S.P.I.D.E.R. T -shirt. Just email the size your child's size. T-shirts for the rest of the family are available for children for $13 and adults for $15.

We will follow up with a potluck at the McDonald's home on 706 W. Nepessing, Lapeer, MI 48446. Even if you can't walk in the parade, you are welcome out to the potluck and to watch the parade from the McDonald's!
